Stephen Diebel

Chairman, Zone 1


Brett Huegele

Vice Chairman, Zone 2

Brett Huegele is a native of South Texas and Victoria County. Brett has worked for McFaddin Enterprises Ltd. since 2010 and as the biologist he works with all aspects of the ranching and hunting enterprise operations In Victoria, Refugio, Bee, and San Patricio counties.   His duties include habitat management, restoration and conservation projects, data collection and record keeping through GIS mapping software, multi-faceted hunting enterprise operations management, surface use management concerning mineral resources and sustainable yield of natural resources. Brett strives to promote the conservation of the native ecosystem of the Gulf Coast tall grass prairies through boots on the ground management.  He is a state certified prescribed burn manager, a board member of the Coastal Bend Prescribed Burn Association, a board member of The Coastal Prairie GLC, and a board member with the Victoria Soil and Water Conservation district. 


Sherilyn Arnecke

Director, Zone 3

Sherilyn Arnecke is a sixth-generation Victoria County rancher. She raises registered Black Angus and lives in Mission Valley.  She and her husband, Calton, also raise crossbred cattle along the San Antonio River in South Victoria County.  She has a son, Kelly (Terese) and a daughter, Stacy Hickman (John) along with three granddaughters, Madeline, Elizabeth and Stella.  


Charlie White

Director, Zone 4

Charlie White was raised in Victoria County. He is a ranch manager for large cow/calf and wildlife operation. He is a graduate of TCU’s Ranch Management Program.


Rob Angerstein

Secretary, Zone 5

Rob Angerstein is a native of Victoria, Texas.  He is the fourth  generation Angerstein to live in Victoria. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1976 with a B.S. in agricultural economics with an emphasis in farm and ranch management. He joined the First Victoria National Bank Trust Department in December 1994 as the department’s real estate and mineral management trust officer.  He has continued to work in the same capacity with Prosperity Bank after the merger with FVNB.  He has over 25 years in the trust department working with real estate, minerals and assets management. Outside of work, he runs cattle on the family’s property, where he  grew up and spends a large part of my time involved with sports with his 12 and 15-year-old sons.


Carter Clifford

Technician

Carter began a career with the USDA Soil Conservation Service (SCS) as a student trainee in the Rio Grande Valley. He served in the United States Air Force Reserve and upon release from active military duty, resumed what became a 34-year career with the SCS as a range conservationist in Uvalde, Texas.  He has also served the SCS as area range conservationist at Victoria, State Conservationist for Texas and Florida.  He was promoted in 1984 to regional range specialist for SCS in Fort Worth, Texas serving 13 states and Puerto Rico.  Upon retirement from the NRCS, he moved to Victoria and became a ranch consultant from 1994 to present.  He began working for the Victoria Soil and Water Conservation District (VSWCD) one day a week in 1998.  He works primarily with the VSWCD on ranch related activities and projects.
